Retention MOU Denied - Alternative Offer Proposed
The Providence lawyers met with our MNA Labor Representatives—the Retention MOU was denied. However, an offer to negotiate an extended contract has been proposed.
What does this mean?
The MNA 17 Officers would represent the members at the negotiation table to discuss a contract extension.
The main focus is money! Examples: wage increases, bonuses, differentials like shift extension, call-in shifts, night, evening, and weekends, etc.
What’s a contract extension?
This is a limited contract. If an agreement is made, full contract negotiation will occur once the extension expires.
Length of extension: TBD
