This page has our most commonly used documents: Our Unit Rep List, a PDF of the contract, etc.
Scroll down and take a look! Each document is linked to a button.
Officers and Unit Reps
After every contract renewal, a new group of MNA Local 17 Officers is elected. This image lists your current officers. Unit representatives are allowed volunteer for their role indefinitely.
Click the button below for an up-to-date list of your current Local 17 Officers and Unit Representatives.
Contract PDF
Here is a PDF version of the latest contract! It currently is at the printer so hard copies are not available at this time. Once they are, every unit will have one as well as a personal copy will be available to you. Notification of this will be sent out.
If you have a smartphone, we highly recommend saving this PDF to your device so that you can always have the contract handy!
Local 17 By-Laws
Our by-laws are rules and regulations established by our Local 17 Chapter to help define what your officers are responsible for and capable of regulating. Essentially, these are the principles that help define how we govern.
Assignment Despite Objection (ADO)
You can find this flyer to the left on your unit’s MNA corkboard. ADOs are extremely useful for implementing change, because they are reviewed monthly by both your officers and Providence Leadership at Professional Conference Committee (PCC).
If you file an ADO, please plan on attending the next PCC meeting to attest to the situation!
Click the button below for a link to an example of the ADO Form.
**Please do not use the form linked below. This is just for reference. The ADO Form we need you to use is a document you can print from Web Form Imprint (Forms Fast at the hospital). One copy goes to your manager, one is for your union officers, and one is for you to keep for your records. If you cannot find the ADO form on your unit, please ask your manager for one!
Grievances
A grievance occurs when St. Patrick Hospital fails to follow our collective bargaining agreemnt (aka, your contract.) Any failure to follow the contract can be considered eligible for a grievance.
